Competition Terms and conditions


RTX 30 series custom build PC Competition is a social media driven competition providing the audience of all ages to submit a name for any of the available concept builds through either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

The opening date is the 20th September 2020 and will continue to run until the 2nd of January 2021 or until a total of 10’000 entries have been submitted in the event that this number of entries has not been reached by the final date

Winners (6 in total) will be announced 30 days after the close of the competition and winners will be notified 21 days after the close date

Terms and Conditions:

1.0 – How to Enter

1.1 – Competitors are required to provide a name for their chosen build as advertised on the competition webpage through a social media private message. They are required to share or retweet (depending on the which platform they are using) the original post of the advertised competition.

1.2 – Submissions should be accepted providing that the content is unoffensive, non-discriminant and clear to understand. Competition administrators will provide final judgement on the content eligibility and will attempt to contact competitors should content not be suitable to provide another opportunity to change or edit their submission.

1.3 – Only one submission per build maybe made on each social platform so long as these terms and conditions are followed

1.4 – There is no fee to enter this competition

1.5 – All those entering this competition are subjected to the terms and conditions of this competition which can be altered with just reason without notice though usually a 24 hour notice is provided.

1.6 – Entries will be shortlisted by a panel of judges. Competitors will not be provided with a choice of the type of price they will receive as each custom build carry’s it own price which is not disclosed until the end of the competition.

2.0 Eligibility:

2.1 – The competition is available to anyone of any age in any country excluding conflict countries or countries under any trade embargo.

2.2 – Submissions that exceed the numbers stated in 1.3 will not be accepted for entry. Only the first entries made will be accepted and cannot be changed unless the content is considered to be inappropriate by a competition administrator.

2.3 – The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your behaviour is not in line with the spirit or intention of the competition.

3.0 The Prizes:

3.1 – The prices are broken into 2 categories:

  1. An Intel CPU build for each RTX 30 series graphics card (3070, 3080 and 3090) – 3 available prices in this category
  2. An AM CPU build for each RTX 30 series graphics card (3070, 3080 and 3090) – 3 available prices in this category

3.2 – The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so. The Promoter also reserves the right to suspend or cancel the competition prizes where it becomes necessary to do so.

3.3 – The prizes are not negotiable or transferable and there is no cash alternative for the prizes.

4.0 Winner announcements:

4.1 – Winners (6 in total) will be announced 30 days after the close of the competition and winners will be notified 21 days after the close date.

4.2 – The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into concerning their decision.

5.0 Claiming the prize:

5.1 – The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners and. If either winner or runner-up cannot be contacted, is not available or has not claimed their prize within 30 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the shortlisted entries in the same age category.

5.2 – The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

6.0 Limitation of Liability:

6.1 – Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and the judges will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prizes except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter and the judges. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7.0 Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights:

7.1 – You as the author will forego any copyright of the submitted content for the name given to the new PC build

7.2 – You agree that the Promoter can publish your content in its digital communications (eg website, social media, email) or on printed communications (eg an event flyer). The Promoter will credit you as
the author anytime the Promoter uses your work. The Promoter, once the competition is closed. have full rights over the submitted content and claim full ownership of it. The winner/s understand that they can claim no ownership of the submitted content here within the competition. Those who do not win retain their rights to ownership of submitted content.

8.0 Data protection and publicity:

8.1 – The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy.

9.0 General:

9.1 – If the Promoter believes that you have breached any of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

9.2 -Judges will not be able to provide feedback on any content.

9.3 – The terms and conditions may be amended by the Promoter at any time.

9.4 – These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
